Welcome to Runescape Trader ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Voluntarily Provided Information: When you choose to sign in using Google OAuth, we collect basic profile information provided by Google, specifically your Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture. We also store the preferences you create within the app, such as your list of "Favorite" and "Hidden" items.
• Automatically Collected Information: We may automatically collect standard log data such as your IP address, browser type, and access times for security and traffic analysis purposes.
• Optional Personal Fill History: If you enable Personal fill history in the RuneLite plugin, we record your recommended Grand Exchange offers, including item, slot, side, price, quantities and observation times, together with matching public market activity. These records belong to your account and are retained for 14 days. This separate setting is off by default.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• Authentication: To identify you and allow you to log in to your account.
• Personalization: To save your preferences (Favorites, Hidden Items) and synchronize them across your devices.
• Service Improvement: To monitor website traffic and improve the performance of our tools.
• Personal Execution Review: Optional fill history supports your own trading advice. It is not used for cross-user training or public recommendation ranking.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage to enhance your experience:

• Session Cookies: To keep you logged in.
• Preference Cookies/Storage: To remember your display settings (like Dark Mode or Table Columns) locally on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for authentication. By using the "Sign In with Google" feature, you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Google password.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You can choose not to provide us with personal information by using the site as a guest (without logging in). If you have logged in, you may request the deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

You can stop optional fill history in RuneLite, or delete it from Settings → API Keys → Personal fill history. Website deletion also blocks further collection until you explicitly allow it again and opt in through RuneLite. This deletes the retained fill history and current slot observations; portfolio trades, earlier plugin logs and historical manual backups are separate. Minimal hashed revocation records remain to prevent old requests from restoring collection. If RuneLite cannot reach the server when you turn the setting off, use the website control to complete deletion.
